Operations Research Analyst
Qualifications
- Masters in Business Administration
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as ORA or Budget Analyst
- Proficiency with database software, Excel and PowerPoint
Responsibilities and Applicable Experience
- Prepare and analyze reports related to managing and maintaining of optimum level of inventory
- Prefer experience with the types of companies that carry inventory such as but not limited to manufacturing or distribution firms
- Prefer experience in with the following:
- Sales revenue reporting and forecasting
- Point of Sale (POS) reports
- Inventory accounting (backlog and idle stock)
- Such standard inventory concepts as cost of goods sold, contribution margins, WIP, gross profit and factory orders
- Compile and analyze data extracted from database software
- Budget and analysis experience for preparing complex mathematical models in Excel
- Prepare charts and worksheets in Excel and presentations relating to sales results, inventory levels and sales order backlogs in PowerPoint
- Modeling related to the forecasting of sales and inventory levels
